The Accelerate Conference is a gathering of mission leaders across Africa to share fellowship and discuss issues around the acceleration of the Great Commission on the continent. At Accelerate 2025, you can expect deep conversations and insights on Spirit-born strategies for frontier missions and Kingdom advancement. There will be breakout sessions and opportunity to network with leaders from across the world in order to forge collaborative relationships for the furtherance of the Great Commission.

Professor Prince VUYANI NTINTILI
Professor Vuyani is the founder of Fulfilling The Great Commission Missions and CLEAN Training School, where he is currently serving.
Professor Vuyani trained in Christian Education, then went on to receive a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, M.Phil. in Social Ethics from Drew University, Th.D. from Christian Leadership University, Ph.D. in Social Ethics from Drew University.
He is author of 16 published books, available on online book stores.


Dr. Lazarus PHIRI
Dr. Lazarus Phiri currently serves as missiologist-at-large with Pioneers, a mission organization, and is the acting president (vice chancellor) of the Evangelical University (formerly Theological College of Central Africa) in Ndola, Zambia.He attended the Second Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Manila in 1989 as a young leader, and later attended the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Cape Town in 2010 as one of the senior leaders.
Lazarus trained in accounts and business studies in Zambia, then went on to receive a BSc in pastoral ministry in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (US), an MA in intercultural studies from Wheaton Graduate School, and a PhD in theology and history of mission from the University of Edinburgh.

Rebeka DANFAGA
Mother of five children, she has been a full-time missionary with Children In Christ (CIC) since 2012. She works in 27 African countries to establish Christian child leadership clubs, with a focus on areas that have limited access to teachings on biblical values, principles, and stories.
A graduate of the University of Bamako in 2008, she worked as a language teacher in high schools and middle schools. Today, she is also a counselor specializing in vocational guidance and support relationships, with a holistic and transformative approach. Her heart beats for the education and flourishing of children.
Together with her husband, Levi Dembele, she co-leads CIC’s mission in Africa from Dakar, launching new mission fields toward North Africa and predominantly Muslim countries.
Author of the book “I Help My Children Succeed”, she shares a faith-based educational approach, rich in experience and inspiration. Rebeka currently coordinates field operations as CIC’s Regional Leader for Africa, with an unwavering commitment to building generations of transformed and transformative children—disciples of Jesus Christ.

Buti SAM KPUTU
Buti SAM KPUTU, as he is popularly known, is a Teacher, Mentor, and a Social Entrepreneur (the business of making friends).
He has been serving for the past 38 years as a missionary with CAPRO MISSIONS, an International, Interdenominational, and cross-cultural Missions Organization, reputed to be one of the largest mission agencies in and from Africa, with over 820 missionaries, from 26 different nations, 32 different denominations and serving in 46 countries on 5 continents of the world.
Sam & Roli pioneered CAPRO mission in South Africa and served for several years as The South African Director of the Missions. In 2012, he was appointed as The International Director of CAPRO missions, a position he held for 8 years before handing over in December 2020. Thereafter he served at the CAPRO International office in Lagos, Nigeria, as a missions mobilizer and strategist.
Buti Sam & Roli returned to South Africa in July 2023 to serve in the Southern Africa & The Islands (SATI) Region of CAPRO and are based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Sam is a university graduate and an ordained minister in the Foursquare Gospel Church. He served for many years as an International Faculty with the Haggai Institute, a global Christian leadership development and training institute based in Hawaii, the USA, with a campus in Thailand, Asia. He was recently inducted into the International Institute for pastoral education and chaplaincy (IIPEC) as a chaplain.
He is married to one female wife, Roli, and are blessed with two lovely children – Ruby and Robert.

Dr Aila Tasse
Dr. Aila is the founder and president of Lifeway Mission International (LMI), and also serves as East Africa Regional Director for New Generations. Aila is a Muslim background believer who founded LMI in 1993.
LMI is an indigenous mission organization that works among unreached people groups in East and Horn of Africa. They catalyze Disciple Making Movements (DMMs) as they develop leaders, engage communities with holistic ministries, multiply churches, and serve persecuted believers.
Aila leads DMM trainings around the world. He also gives much of his time to mentor and coach DMM leaders, especially in 14 East African countries that range from Sudan to Malawi.
Aila was born in Kenya. He is married to Tiru and has two boys and a girl. Aila has two master’s degrees in missions and leadership and a Doctor of Transformational Leadership degree from Bakke Graduate University in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Ferdinand NWEKE
Dr. Ferdinand Nweke trained as a medical doctor and currently serves as the General Coordinator of Eternity Ministries and International Director of the Truth Institute, whose flagship training program, School of Divine Priorities equips leaders to lead and minister for divine agenda.
He is an alumnus and an international faculty member of Haggai Institute for Advanced Leadership Training (Maui, Hawaii, USA), and a graduate of Missions Exposure & Training (MET), South Africa. Dr Nweke has trained leaders in Nigeria, Southern Africa, East Africa, Asia, the United Kingdom, the United States and other nations of the world.
